Afghanistan Independent Human Rights Commission

 

 

The AIHRC is now a Constitutionalized, National and Independent Human Rights body in Afghanistan.

    The Article "58" of Constitution says " The State, for the purpose of monitoring the observation of human rights in Afghanistan, to promote their advancement and protection, shall establish the Independent Human Rights Commission of Afghanistan.

Any person, whose fundamental rights have been violated, can file complaint to the Commission.

The Commission can refer cases of violation of human rights to the legal authorities, and assist in defending the rights of the complainant.

The structure, and functions of this Commission shall be regulated by law
