The AIHRC Position Paper on Tokyo Conference

Introduction,

Tokyo conference will present an important opportunity to both the International Community and the GoIRA to reiterate and emphasize on promotion and protection of human rights. Though, promotion and protection of human rights have been steady in Afghanistan, the trajectory remains somewhat unpredicted in the future. The Afghanistan Independent Human Rights Commission (AIHRC) demands the International Community and GoIRA to reiterate their commitment to promotion and protection of human rights during transition period and beyond in Tokyo.
